The H2020 funded project STRATEGY CCUS, has been investigating the interest and potential of CCUS technologies – CO2 Capture, Utilization and Storage – in eight regions of particular interest in Spain, Portugal, Greece, France, Croatia, Romania and Poland. This regional event aims to presents the outcomes of the analysis conducted for the Portuguese target region, the Lusitanian basin, including CCUS deployment scenarios, techno-economic assessment and life cycle analysis. Building on the results of the project, the event will further promote the discussion of the relevance of CCUS in industrial sectors and national and European funding opportunities.
